The 2026 season begins week of May 18 for all age divisions, and ends Aug 15 for U4-6, Aug 22 for U7-10, and Aug 29 for U11-18

What is included with my registration and what do I need to provide?

Included

  • Full Uniform: Jersey, shorts, and socks
  • 12 week schedule
  • Awards event at the end of the season

You Must Provide

  • Shin guards (mandatory for all players)
  • Running shoes or soccer cleats
  • Water for refreshment and re-hydration
Can my child’s friend / cousin / neighbour be placed on their team?

No. It is too difficult for the club to manage these requests, based on the number of requests we get, and the need to effectively balance teams.

The best we can do is try and ensure that all players in the same age groups play at the same time, location, and on adjacent fields, making it somewhat easier for one parent to supervise an additional player.

Siblings of the same gender, and in the same age division, will be placed on the same team.

Who will be my child's Coach?

Our coaches are dedicated parent volunteers who, like yourself, are eager to actively participate in their child's soccer experience. As a recreational soccer club, we rely on the invaluable contributions of parent volunteers to make our programs accessible and
affordable.

Volunteering as a coach can be a rewarding opportunity to share in your child's soccer adventure. We encourage parents to consider this role to make a positive impact and create lasting memories together with your child.

You will be provided with an option to volunteer during the registration process. If you decide you would like to get involved after you have completed registration, you can re-visit the registration website, and use the "Volunteer Now" button on the left-hand side of the homepage.

What is the Refund Policy?

If the program is canceled or suspended for COVID-19 health reasons, or by governing bodies, we remain committed to our financial obligations and can not guarantee a refund.

You may cancel your registration at anytime, and if cancellation is prior to April 30, you will receive a full refund, less a $35.00 administration fee.

If cancelling between April 30 and May 31, you will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. For request received starting June 1, there will be no refunds awarded.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/player to request a refund.
Cancellation/Refund requests must be sent by email to: cysa_registrar@bell.net

Registration Instructions

Registration and Payment
The Chatham Soccer Club uses PowerUp Sports software to process on-line registrations and payment (Visa, Mastercard credit cards only), and to recruit volunteers. If you don’t have access to a computer or credit card, no problem, email cysa_registrar@bell.net to schedule an in-person registration.

Using the on-line registration is easy and takes about 10 minutes. A parent or Guardian (must be 18 yrs of age or older) will create a profile account, using a valid email address, telephone number and password. Once the account is set up (1 per family) you can continue or log out and come back any time to add players, add additional
parents/guardians, volunteer, or edit your profile.

Volunteers are an essential part of the CSC. The club relies on enthusiastic parents and youth volunteers to coach/co-coach and convene our recreational league teams. We will provide you with the support and resources you will need. We hope that while using the on-line registration program, you will answer YES to the volunteer question. If you decide you would like to get involved after you have completed registration, you can re-visit the login page, and use the Volunteer Now button on the left-hand side of the home page

Log in/Sign in
If you are a returning member, you have already created your profile, so just click the Login tab, and enter your email and password you used last year. If you have forgotten your password, there is an option to reset it.

If you have not used the PowerUp registration site before, click the Sign In tab, to get started.

Schedules/Age divisions
The club will make every attempt to adhere to published playing nights/age divisions, however these are tentative until we determine final numbers at the completion of registration. Please note that some age divisions are combined when necessary.

Recreational/Competitive
We offer a recreational league for all players, and competitive (travel) teams for ages 9 yrs. and older, and are considering a competitive program for 8 yr. olds, this year.  All players must register for the recreational league. If wishing to try out for competitive teams, indicate this by answering “yes” on the questionnaire, and a coach will contact you regarding tryouts. Competitive team tryouts begin indoors early in February, and teams are chosen in April. Those players not chosen for competitive teams are returned to the recreational league. An additional fee will be collected from competitive team players.

Waitlist

If the age division you are trying to register for is “Sold Out”, you will be prompted to continue your registration and be added to a wait list. No payment will be required at this time, but you must continue with the checkout process in order to be assigned an invoice number, and your order considered complete.

Financial Assistance
If you are applying for any special funding or financial assistance through one of the participating programs, please begin the process as soon as possible. Chatham Soccer Club cannot fill out the paperwork or go through the process for you, Parents/Caregivers must be the ones to apply. Ensure you note the program fees, and duration of the registration you will be applying for as the organizations typically require this information.
