Police Background Check Procedure
All coaches must submit the results of a Vulnerable Sector check to the Club President, no later than March 31 of the current year. This check is valid for three years, and is submitted and paid for online via the CK Police website. Cost of this check is $16 dollars , and will be reimbursed by the club, when the check results are submitted.
Procedure
- Download the Police Back Ground Check letter, found on this site.
- Log on to the CK Police website, pull down the "OnLine Reporting" menu, and select "Police Clearance Checks"
- You will be applying for a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) click on the link for more information, then click the "Get Started" button
- Click the button and fill in the registration form and click "Process My Registration"
- Record the user name and password that is issued, and then click "Login" and you will be prompted to change your password
- When your password has been reset, click "Continue" and then "New Application"
- Scroll down to the Police Vulnerable Sector Check section, and choose the $16 Volunteer option, and scroll down again and fill in the "Reason for the Police Record Check " section, - for the "Employer/Organization Requesting " question, enter "Chatham Soccer Club" and check the consent box and submit.
- Upload the Police Background Check letter you previously downloaded, and submit payment.
